Most recent photos we will try to keep on top, so you don't have to scroll.

The theme for registered names of this litter will be "Favorite Children's Books", little kid books in particular.  We have been calling the puppies names from children's books, but of course their permanent homes will pick their own names.

We have been calling them: Ramona (from the book Ramona the Brave) ;

Charlotte
(from the book (Charlotte's Web) ;
                                              Stella (from the book Stellaluna) ;
and our boy Jerome (from the book Jerome, Tracy's favorite book as a little kid)

Another trip out to Scatter Creek with the whole bunch!  Pups will be heading to their permanent homes soon, so this might be their last chance to romp together!  They had a great time as you can see!

9 Sept 04

from the left : Jerome, Stella, Charlotte, Ramona, Briggs, and Jubilee leading the parade!

Doesn't Jubilee look HAPPY !!!

Good Boy Briggs!
Keep Away!

From left : Briggs has the bird, then Charlotte, Stella, Jerome, and Ramona
Briggs and Stella "discuss" whose pheasant wing that is that Briggs found...
Briggs got it!
(Jube in the background looking for more toys...)

Poor Briggs!
Now Ramona wants to "share"!

Charlotte is just gorgeous, don't you think?!
(And yes, she stole the wing from poor Briggs)

STELLA!!!!
At Full Puppy Speed!

We had other company too - this Red-Tailed Hawk was looking for any leftovers from the Labor Day hunt tests, too!
Closer look at our company.
Pretty cool, eh?!

Ramona... finally I think they might be getting tired... maybe...
Ok.. maybe they're not tired yet...

FUN was had by all!

Are they getting big or WHAT?!?

30 August, 12 weeks old

top left is Stella, Charlotte between Stella and Jube's head

Front row Ramona's and Jerome's butts.  ;-)

Jerome gives mommy a smooch!

30 August

Clockwise around Jubilee, Jerome kissing her, Stella, Charlotte looking a bit crazy, and Ramona trying to get in on the smooches

On the 25th of August it was a very soggy, gray, miserable sort of gorgeous day here in the Pacific Northwest.  It rather reminded us of what we have heard that the homeland of Clumbers often looks like...
So what better to do than to load up the entire pack and drive out to have a good
Old English Style romp through the grounds?
So off to Scatter Creek in the rain and fog!  A wonderful time was had by ALL!

(our rule is that it is just fine to get good and filthy... just as long as you had FUN doing it!)

Here they all are!  Jubilee way in front, Briggs sort of leaping excitedly to get a look over the cover, and puppies, puppies everywhere!
Just a closeup of the above - Look at all those up tails!  HAPPY!
Again Jubilee leading the pack!  Briggs still in the foreground having a good sniff around!
Closeup of the shot above - Ramona is AIRBORE!

PUPPY ROMP! They really do seem to use those ears to get flying, don't they!
JUBILEE ROMP!

Who dare says Clumbers aren't fast?!!

Stella in full gallop!
Stella and Mom Jube in full gallop!!
Jube and Jerome just starting to get a bit winded....
We live in the most gorgeous place in the universe.
 Even in the rain!

Single file now kids!!!
My goodness are we having fun! clockwise from top left : Stella, Charlotte, Briggs, and Ramona in front
Jubilee is supervising!
Well okay, Tracy is sort of supervising too. Briggs in the cover there
Did I forget to mention that Jeni and I were there too?  Oh yeah, we were.  Here Tracy is with the pups, holding Briggs.  Jubilee is off behind me making absolutely sure there aren't any birds out there before we leave.
Everyone was extremely well-behaved and always came right back to us with just a couple twee twee twee's on our whistle!  Such great birddog puppies!.  "No birds out there Mumm!"

This is a game of tug-a-war with all puppies verses big brother Briggs!  Go Briggs!

18 August 2004

(Yes, there are 4 puppies, but the 4th one had a bit of "business" to attend to as soon as I brought out the camera.  Just trust that all 4 were playing just before I got  my camera out)
18 August 2004
Another field day - here Stella and her Mom, Jubilee, watch other dogs work the water.

Not our puppies, but this is the Fetcher Sketcher Crew that we train with.  They are great ESS! If you EVER want a gorgeous portrait of your dog, contact their owner! She does fabulous work!   Tonka and her mom Bright in the window there.
FLASH!

4 August our new wonderful boy arrives (after a lonnng couple of flights with Tracy) from BlueMoonWelcome  Briggs!
He has his own page up now

Briggs' Page!

We totally adore this boy.

Check out his web page!

What better way to start a month than taking 7½ week old puppies out for their first
 clip-wing?
Go Charlotte!

1 August

Charlotte and Ramona git 'em!

1 August

Charlotte REALLY liked the bird!
Git 'em good girl!

1 August

This is actually their 1st look at the pigeon.  I discovered that it was too difficult to praise and photograph simultaneously - hence why there aren't many photos!  Sorry!

1 August

From the left, Stella, Charlotte, Jerome heading the pigeon off at the pass!
Jeni gits 'em too!
Go Jeni!

1 August

Tired... tired... exhausted puppies!

They had waaay too much fun!

1 August

From the top : Jerome, Ramona, Charlotte, and Stella.
Mommy Jubilee was there too!

Maternity leave over!
Git 'em!

"Finally!  I want birds!"
Git 'em Jube!

My Boo.

I love that dog.

1 August

Dangit!  Trying AGAIN to get a good shot of Ramona stacked... this is the best we have so far.  BratGirl!

26 July

mmmmph!  You're squishing my face!  Cut it out!
"I don't like to stand still."

Ramona sulks better than anyone.

26 July

Another try with Jerome too!  Sigh...

26 July

Good thing they are so cute...

Jerome

26 July

Charlotte "Neener Neener!" 's Ramona and Jerome since she didn't have to stack today!  We already have a good photo of her!

26 July

Still recovering from the long drive!  (And they were SUCH good puppies too!)

(Charlotte on the top and left, Jerome, and Stella at the bottom)

26 July

Saturday, July 24, we visited the Wickwires and their awesome litter that is just a day younger than ours.
Wonderfully, Leslie and Dan were there too and Leslie stacked pups for us!
We got this great shot of Charlotte!
More photos forthcoming as there were other photographers present!
And this almost as nice shot of Charlotte

24 July

Once again... Ramona was a brat and wouldn't be stacked nicely.  Shame because she is such a gorgeous dog and I can't prove it except in person!

24 July

Stella has such a nice rear ... one might even say "Hindquarters : The thighs are heavily muscled and, when viewed from behind, the rear is round and broad. The stifle shows good functional angulation, and hock to heel is short and perpendicular to the ground." Might one?  Yes we are overly proud.

24 July

Charlotte runs out of steam!

24 July

Stella under the watchful eye of Grandma Maddie!

24 July

Stella tries a recall for Tracy!

Life is good.
(Motto on my hat)

(Yes, Jerome was there too but we didn't get any good photos of him.  Hopefully the other photographers did!)

24 July

Hey?!?  Where did all the other photos go?!
They have been moved to the Archive Page so that this page will load a bit faster for you.
We'll try to move older photos to the archive page regularly.

This is basically a rough draft of this web page, and will be continuously "Under Construction".
We wanted to get this up right away so we could share our joy with you. Expect changes here often.

A MILLION BILLION THANK YOUs to Leslie and Dan Connell at Cameo!
Naming all the reasons we are THANKING YOU would take too much bandwidth and there'd be no more room for photos!

Coming Soon (as I track down more time...) :

Tracy's Best Buddy - Jubilee, aka Jube, aka Boo
